About Power Bi Masterclass
This 5-week Power BI masterclass is a comprehensive program that aims to provide students with a solid understanding of the software and its capabilities. The class is divided into three weeks, starting with introduction to the interface and tools of Power BI, then moving on to advanced visualizations and data analysis techniques, and ending with creating interactive dashboards and reports.
The course will be hands-on and interactive, allowing students to apply their knowledge through exercises and real-world projects. The class will be led by an expert instructor who will provide guidance and feedback throughout the course. The class is updated to reflect latest features and best practices in Power BI. It is important to note that the course outline may be adjusted based on the students' proficiency level and needs.

How to become a DataAnalyst using Power BI
Limitations of Power BI
Data Pre-processing in Power Query (Basic)
Revisit Power Query from Excel
Data connections vs import
Basic operations (Renaming columns, tables etc)
Using operations from ribbons (Transform vs Add Column, Remove duplicates, filtering columns, extract etc)
Importance of steps"
Data Pre-processing in Power Query (Advanced)
M Language
Advanced editor
(Variables, Blank query, modifying steps, creating new steps using M language, renaming steps, List, List operations, etc.)
Visualisation (Basic)
Introduction to different chart types,
Report view, creating basic charts from the data, interactivity, formatting charts, etc.
Data Modeling - I
Relationship view (importance of data modelling, data vs lookup tables, create table relations, star vs snowflake schema, connecting multiple data tables, filter flow, two-way filtering, hiding fields from data models, data model)
Table view (RELATED(), Measures, Calculated columns, Hierarchy)
DAX
DAX (Complex DAX functions, Advanced measures, Combining measures, functions, Variables)
Formatting (Numbers, time, dates, rounding of numbers etc. )
Data Visualisation (Advanced)
Storytelling dashboard Creation
(Slicers, Drillthrough, KPI, Buttons, Navigation, Data Cards, Trend analysis, Correlations, Matrices etc.)
Data Analysis Project using Power BI
End to End Data Analysis Project lifecycle using Power BI (With a Simple Dashboard creation task)
Per week you will go through 3 live sessions by our mentors & 3 days you will be learning within the cohort. Our aim in the masterclass is to provide education and connect you with a supportive group of peers from around the country. In addition to the cohort schedule, we recommend setting aside 3-4 hours each week to complete any assignments from class.
