Terms and Conditions for NxtGen Summit 2024

1. General Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all attendees, participants, and users of the NxtGen Summit 2024 ("Summit"), organized by Vertocity, including the NxtGen Startup Contest ("Contest"), and any associated services or websites operated by Vertocity.
1.2 By registering for the Summit, entering the Contest, or using our website, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not register, participate, or use our services.
2. Summit Registration
2.1 Eligibility: The Summit is open to students, professionals, and entrepreneurs. Students must provide a valid College ID at the time of registration.
2.2 Registration Fees:
Students: ₹775 per person.
Non-Students/Professionals: ₹999 per person.
Startup Teams: ₹3,500 per team (up to 5 members).
2.3 Cancellation & Refunds:
Cancellations made up to 14 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
Vertocity reserves the right to cancel the event. In the event of cancellation, full refunds will be provided.
3. NxtGen Startup Contest
3.1 Eligibility: The Contest is open to startup teams with no more than 5 members. Each team member must possess a specific role in the project.
3.2 Registration Fee: ₹3,499 per team.
3.3 Submission Requirements:
Teams must submit a complete project file detailing the pros and cons of their idea.
Projects must be original and the intellectual property of the team.
3.4 Judging & Prizes:
Projects will be judged on innovation, feasibility, scalability, and potential impact.
Winning teams will receive monetary and in-kind giveaways. Exact details of the prizes will be provided during the Summit.
3.5 Disqualification: Vertocity reserves the right to disqualify any team that violates the contest rules or submits plagiarized content.
4. Payments
4.1 Payment Methods: All payments must be made through the Vertocity website or authorized payment platforms. Payment options will be provided at the time of registration.
4.2 Security: We use secure payment gateways to process transactions. Vertocity does not store credit card or payment details.
4.3 Taxes: All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which will be added at the time of payment, if required.
5. Website Use
5.1 Access: Your access to and use of the Vertocity website is subject to these Terms, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
5.2 Content Ownership: All content on the website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and videos, is the property of Vertocity or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.
5.3 User Conduct: You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the reputation of Vertocity or interfere with the operation of the website.
5.4 Third-Party Links: The website may contain links to third-party websites. Vertocity is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such sites.
6. Data Privacy
6.1 Personal Information: By registering for the Summit, entering the Contest, or using our website, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6.2 Data Security: Vertocity takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure.
7. Liability
7.1 Limitation of Liability: Vertocity will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Summit or Contest, or use of the website.
7.2 Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Vertocity harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms.
8. Amendments
8.1 Changes to Terms: Vertocity reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
8.2 Notification of Changes: We will notify registered participants of any significant changes to these Terms via email or through announcements on our website.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
9.2 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, India.
